i really cant explain it

It really is the oddest thing, a few years ago I was very into watching basketball and hockey on TV and I wouldnt even glance twice at a baseball game. But now i rarely catch a basketball or hockey game and im completely obsessed with baseball. Maybe its my lack of television watching lately, damn internet, taking over my life! Im already subscribed on mlb.tv which allows me to watch any game of baseball in this upcoming season, including the spring training games. Yea i know baseball is super slow moving and boring at times, but now that i understand the game and the strategy and talent behind it i can appreciate it. I follow the bluejays like its a religion, Roy Halladay is pretty much Jesus on the mound, so it fits. And why not be on the Bluejays bandwagon they are totally gonna win the pennant this year, as long as the Yankees dont spend another billion dollars on superstar players, damn rich americans. You would think that if a team spent well over twice as much as the second place team in their division to boost their lineup they would be able to create a bigger gap than they have. Last year alone the New York Yankees spent 194 million dollars on players, a staggering 74 million dollars more than the team in second position, the Boston Red Sox, at 120 million. So where do the Blue Jays stand? 71 million, 16th in the Majors for Team Payroll. Where did they stand last year in the standings? 2nd in their divistion behind the Yankees. and their record stood 8th overall across the majors. talk about getting more bang for your buck. and this next year coming up they have bolstered their lineup with some big name players while bringing back their big stars from the previous year. so this year is looking to be a very big year for the only canadian team left in the MLB. wow im a baseball freak now... god help me
